Leading lady and passionate health advocate, Fran Drescher is A 20-year cancer survivor. Her life-changing battle with cancer inspired her New York Times best-seller Cancer Schmancer, resulting in her non-for-profit charity and movement. Cancer Schmancer’s mission is to save lives by educating, motivating, and activating people to prevent disease through a healthy, non-toxic lifestyle. The organization also emphasizes the early detection of cancer through regular screenings, and it advocates for legislation to keep the planet green and to rid food and consumer products of harmful chemicals.

Aside from her philanthropic work, Fran has received two Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations for her portrayal as the lovable “Miss Fine” on CBS’s hit series, The Nanny, which she both created and executive produced. It has been almost 30 years since The Nanny first graced our screens, yet the magic and success of The Nanny endures to this day. The flashy girl from Flushing continues to bring laughs to original fans and new audiences alike with the complete series now available to binge on HBO Max.

Fran currently serves as the president of SAG-AFTRA – Hollywood’s most influential labor union.

Rebecca Kelly hails from humble beginnings in Sydney, Australia. Always an avid reader, Bec is passionate about books and education, which she shares with her husband and three children. She holds degrees in both business and education but would proudly hold a degree in Nanny-ology if such a thing existed.

Rebecca is also a co-founder of an ASX-listed accounting group and a scholar’s foundation aimed at educating future entrepreneurs on the importance of building businesses for positive social impact.

Born with congenital heart disease, a disease which has also passed to her youngest child, Rebecca is a committed advocate for patient education and empowerment. Her life-changing experiences within the medical system resulted in her affinity with Cancer Schmancer’s mission and her drive to support their work.

After happily working as a ghost writer on various projects over the years, Bec was inspired to write her first book title. Born out of the pandemic and her desire to make a difference, N is for The Nanny was written in honor of Fran Drescher and Peter Marc Jacobson's 90s sitcom hit.

Gary Chestney has always had a passion for illustration since childhood. Growing up, his ambitions in life was to start his own creative design studio and publish books with his illustrations that would showcase his creativity. “N is for the Nanny” was a great opportunity, not just to show his passion but also reminiscent of his childhood growing up and watching “The Nanny” television show with his family.
